Downers Grove North 4, Morton 3: The Trojans (14-2-2) knocked off the top-ranked Mustangs (14-2-3) by a score of 4-3 at Morton.  The Trojans cruised to a 4-1 lead behind senior Paul Hogan’s four-goal game before giving up two goals in the last 18 minutes. Hogan now has 21 goals on the season.

Elk Grove 5, Wheeling 2: The Grenadiers took over the top spot in the MSL East division with the win at Wheeling. Elk Grove (10-4, 6-3) got a pair of goals from Cesar Rodriguez, and one apiece from Carlos Cisneros, Justin Gavros, and Ernesto Rodriguez. Nick Jordan had two assists on the day while Juan Jaramillo and Cesar Rodriguez chipped in an assist apiece.

West Aurora 1, Bolingbrook 0: The Blackhawks improved to 15-5 overall for the season at Bolingbrook.  Cesar Garcia scored his eighth goal of the season 40 seconds into the match off an assist by Roberto Chavez, while keeper Abel Diaz recorded 5 saves to earn his 4th shutout of the season.
 
Benet 1, Marian Catholic 0: Despite the wind, rain, and cold, Benet Academy (6-6-1, 3-2-0) endured to hold onto a 1-goal lead to record its 6th shutout in Chicago Heights. The match was tied 0-0 at the half.  Co-captain Sean Mogan scored on a free kick, which Benet defended until time ran out. Sophomore Kyle DalSanto had three saves in goal. Janine Mogan

Neuqua Valley 2, Chaminade Prep (MO) 1: The Wildcats (10-2-1) completed a 2-0 road trip to St. Louis after winning Saturday's Showcase match in the Gateway City Classic. Will Butler scored one goal, thanks to assists from Patrick Doody and Alex Karkazis, while Jacob Brindle added the other score, off of an assist from Butler.

Neuqua Valley 7, Collinsville 0: The Wildcats rolled to an easy win over the Kakoks in Friday's match in the Gateway City Classic in St. Louis. Sammy Al-Qady, Will Butler and Patrick Doody each scored a pair of goals while Jacob Brindle added the other score, as well as two assists. Hunter Hollingshead and Marc Fasshauer combined to post the shutout in goal for the winners.

Wheaton Academy 3, Evanston 0: The Warriors (11-5-1) captured third place honors at Saturday's Mid-State Classic at Schaumburg's Olympic Park after blanking the Wildkits. Stephen Fernandes scored a pair of goals while Colton Seager added the other score for the winners. Earlier in the day, the Warriors fell 2-1 in double overtime in the semifinals to eventual champion Saint Viator. WA got a goal from Fernandes to take a 1-0 halftime lead before the Lions forced a tie through regulation play and then won the match late in the final overtime.
